Meyers is in line for a new job.
Meyers has been named one of three finalists for the top job at Morgan State University in Baltimore.
Morgan State's Board of Regents is expected to name a new president in December to succeed Earl Richardson. He's leaving after 25 years at the university.
Meyers came to Norfolk State in 2006 from North Carolina A&T, where she was provost and vice chancellor of academic affairs.
