Police arrested 30-year-old Shelley Wright Thursday after a 14-year-old boy notified a family member that he had had sex with her on numerous occasions over the last week.
The alleged incidents occurred at a home in the 2600 block of Au Sable Place which he was visiting at the time.
Wright - a mother of three - was charged with Carnal Knowledge and Indecent Liberties with a Child.
She is being held without bond at the Virginia Beach Correctional Facility.
The kid Wright is accused of having sex with is her boyfriend's nephew. The child had been visiting the couple's Virginia Beach home from Ohio.
According to her mother, Wright used to work at a dentists office, but was unemployed at the time of her arrest.
