A student at Crestwood Middle School in Chesapeake has been diagnosed with the H1N1 flu. A message was sent home to parents today telling them that the student left school sick on Tuesday and is recovering at home.
School officials are in contact with the Chesapeake Health Department and the Central Office to monitor this situation. They say they are following the procedure provided by the health department. Extra precautions are being made to have all appropriate areas in the building sanitized.
