Newport News, Va. - A Newport News gang member will spend the rest of his life behind bars.
On Tuesday a judge sentenced Edward Davis to life in prison for murdering Terrell Williams and Tiarra Campbell.
Davis was a member of the Dump Squad, a violent street gang on the peninsula, when police connected him to an arson fire in Newport News in 2007.
Police found Tiara Campbell's body inside the home.
Davis had killed her to keep her from cooperating with police and then set the fire to cover up the murder.
