Four-time heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield came to the Breakfast of Champions at Americorp Foundation this morning.
He took time to honor volunteers and nonprofits who give back when nobody is looking.
"You only lose when you quit, setbacks, everyone has setbacks, ain't nobody ever made it that didn't have setbacks," Holyfield said.
He was speaking to nonprofits serving the young, elderly and the disabled. More than a dozen groups and individuals were recognized for working to serve the community. Americorp awarded the winners $1000 each to continue their good work.
Holyfield went on to comment about the Tiger Woods media sensation. He said the same grit that made Tiger great is what he needs now to get through the crisis.
"Now tiger got to prove even in this situation that, hey, I slipped, but I got to make the necessary adjustments that necessary to be able to face what I have to face and show that it's not just about golf, it's about living," he said.
