The Virginia Beach Department of Public Health will hold a flu vaccination clinic Saturday at Larkspur Middle School on Princess Anne Road.
The clinic runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Nurses will give the free vaccines to kids who attend private schools, are home-schooled or who go to child care centers.
Students who attend a higher education institution will also get the vaccine.
The Norfolk Department of Public Health will hold a Special H1N1 Clinic for priority groups on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009 from 4 - 7 pm at their offices on 830 Southampton Ave. For more information call 683-2860 or 683-2796.
The Hampton Health Department will hold the following clinics providing H1N1 vaccine:
8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Nov. 14 at the Hampton Health Department. It's designed for pregnant women, family members and caregivers of children younger than 6 months, people up to 25 years old, and people 25 to 64 who have a serious chronic health problem.
4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 12 at Hampton High School. It's intended for children 6 months to 18 years old, pregnant women and parents and caretakers of children younger than 6 months.
If the department receives enough vaccine, it will hold clinics Nov. 16 at Bethel High and Nov. 19 at Hampton High. Hours will be 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The Hampton Health Department is asking healthy adults to wait another two to three weeks until the vaccine supply increases.
The department also has a limited supply of the nasal spray variety of the seasonal flu vaccine, and the injectable vaccine is available for pregnant women.
