Kenneth Lombart is donating thousands of dollars worth of medical equipment to the earthquake ravaged country of Haiti.

Lombart donated and gathered the equipment at the urging of Dr. Stephanie Marioneax with the American Academy of Ophthalmologists.

Right now there is more than $100,000 in equipment, which is enough to outfit about five examination rooms.

Lombart says, "This equipment was just recently traded in and it's been a rush job trying to get it prepped in order to get it crated and shipped down to Miami where the Clinton Foundation is supposed to ship it to Haiti."

Dr. Marioneax is also donating 13,000 pairs of reading glasses she acquired from Physicians for Peace.

In addition to equipment for exams, 6,000 bottles of glaucoma eye drops have been given.
