Gloucester County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested 32-year-old Angela Louise Heart for allegedly assaulting a 27-year-old man at his home on Joseph Lewis Road on Halloween.
The victim reported that he answered his door around 6:45 pm for what he thought was a trick-or-treater. The victim said Hart was wearing a Mike Myers mask and sprayed him in the face with mace, Hart then struck him with a baseball bat in the ensuing struggle before fleeing.
The victim was transported to Riverside Walter Reed Hospital where he was treated and released.
Hart, who lives on Shields Street in Newport News, was arrested on Sunday and charged with Breaking and Entering and Aggravated Malicious Wounding. She was released on a $2500.00 Secured bond.
The relationship between the suspect and Hart is not being released at this time, however both parties did know each other.
