It's military appreciation day in Virginia Beach, and Geico invited a few hundred of their military friends
and family to join the party.
Today is extra special because this is the tenth year that the company sponsored the event.

Also offering a salute, the Salem High School NJROTC was in charge of presenting the colors.
The free lunch and recognition honors were hosted by Geico Insurance as a way to honor military families and their sacrifices.
When the insurance company started out ten years ago, it was a cook-out, and now it has grown to serve nearly 600 military men and women and their families.
