On Monday, May 3, a woman entered the RBC Bank located in the 1300 block of North Great Neck Rd. and requested a counter check in the amount of approximately $6500. The woman provided identification and account information that matched what the bank had on file, and the woman was issued a check.

Investigators were contacted by the victim, the legitimate account holder, who resides in North Carolina. It appears that the suspect had obtained identification in the name of the victim and used it to remove funds from the victim's account.

The suspect is described as a black female with a medium to heavy build, medium complexion, with short dark hair in a spiky style with bleached blond bangs. She was wearing dark framed glasses and a coral, yellow, and black shirt. She had in her possession a lime green colored wallet.
