A Virginia Beach police officer has been arrested for drunk driving in Chesapeake.
Officer Stephane Prevot hit a mailbox on Myrtle Avenue a little before noon on Saturday.
Police say Officer Prevot left the scene and is now charged with hit and run and drunk driving.
Virginia Beach police say he's still on the force for now.
