Larry Vespa has a second chance at life because of these strangers.

"I just thank God for them and wish the best to them."

Exactly one month ago the 47-year-old was waiting at the pharmacy when he collapsed from a heart attack. He doesn't remember a lot since then, but he knows he's alive because of a team of Wal-Mart employees.

Customer service manager Mary Hurdle bypassed Wal-Mart's zero page policy.

"I told the operator you have to make this page. This man is dying, I need nurses and doctors up here immediately to the pharmacy, and we made it again and I told her to make it louder and hard. Three angels came out of nowhere," said Hurdle.

Along with two nurses and an EMT shopping that day, pharmacy tech Jessica Midgette took action and called 911 on her cell.

"I prayed everyday that he would be okay, it was a life changing experience," Midgette said.

Pharmacist Ian Baker heard Jessica's screams for help and rushed to Larry's side along with a former military serviceman. They started chest compressions before the ambulance arrived. No one was giving up.

"He would breathe, turn blue, turn red, in and out, I never saw him gain consciousness," Baker said.

Eleven days at Sentara Heart Hospital, and here's a walking miracle.
