According to police, at 7:23 p.m. Monday evening, an officer told dispatchers that he was in a pursuit. Moments later, the officer called for help, fired one shot, and one of the suspects was hit in the abdomen.
The suspect was taken to the hospital.
Police say the officer struggled with the two suspects at the end of the pursuit.
A handgun was found at the scene police say. The officer has been put on administrative leave with pay pending an investigation.
