Donald Trump’s big reveal about President Obama turned out to be more of a bargain than a bombshell.
After days of build up, Trump announced Wednesday that if President Obama releases his college records and his passport records, Trump will give a $5 million check to a charity of Obama’s choice. Trump says he will release the check within an hour of receiving the records, and they have to be revealed by Oct. 31.
Trump has previously embraced the ‘birther’ movement that refuses to believe the president was born in the U.S. and is a citizen, despite the release of Obama’s birth certificate.
