Suspect wanted in string of York burglaries

York County, Va. – The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s office has released photos of a suspected burglar.

Several businesses are thought to have been broken into and robbed by the suspect pictured in these photos, between July 17 and July 19.

The suspect is accused of robbing the Bead, Nail & Hair on the 1200 block of Rt. 17, and Great Atlantic Spas on the 1900 block of Rt. 17.

The suspect is also accused of robbing the Starbucks, Super Cuts, and York Cleaners on the 4300 block of Rt. 17.

Dragon China, Hallmark, Adam’s Shoes, and Sherwin Williams near Rt. 17 are also possible locations he/she has robbed.

The suspect is believed to be in their 40s, medium complexion, medium-stocky build, dark, slightly thinning hair, wearing a blue t-shirt and glasses, officials say.
