Fire crews in Chesapeake were called to a fire in the 900 block of Bethel Road at 8:44 a.m. Monday morning.
Firefighters found heavy smoke coming from a detached garage.
They had the fire under control just after 9:00 a.m. No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
