Former William & Mary football player charged with 18 drug-related offenses

A former William & Mary football player has been arrested on 18 drug-related charges.

William & Mary Police confirm that 19-year-old Samuel V. Marshall was arrested Sunday. He was formerly a redshirt freshman on the 2013-14 William & Mary Football.

The charges include seventeen felony counts and one misdemeanor count relating to activity that took place between February 1st and February 23rd.

Eight of the felony charges are for sale of Schedule 1 narcotics, eight more are for the sale of Schedule 1 narcotics on campus, one felony charge is for possession of cocaine, and the misdemeanor charge is for possession of marijuana.
