Norfolk, Va. – Less than two weeks ago, NewsChannel 3 shared the story of a homeless man staying at a Norfolk mission who posted his request online for a family to take him in for Thanksgiving. And this Thanksgiving, Neal Shytles got exactly what he was looking for – a family to spend the day with.

Today — NewsChannel 3 took action to help Neal give back to his community.

After his story went viral, Neal was overwhelmed by how many people nationwide reached out to him.

He wanted to give back to the community.

Neal joined NewsChannel 3 anchors, reporters, producers, online producers, sales staff, production and more today, to stuff hundreds of bags with goodies for the homeless who will spend the holidays living at the Union Mission.
