Newport News, Va. - Police were called out to Ridley Circle in Newport News after reports of shots fired on Tuesday night.
Authorities went out to the scene at 10:26 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a 25-year-old man suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the right leg.
Two people were detained near the scene but no charges have been obtained at this point.
Police are continuing to investigate.
