Norfolk, Va. – Police are investigating after a man was shot in Norfolk Tuesday afternoon and stray bullets hit a car with a 2-year-old inside.
The shooting happened around 4:30pm in the 4800 block of Kennebeck Ave. Police say the wounded man was involved in the shooting and was found in the 1500 block of Norcova Ave where police were called to help him.
He was hospitalized and is expected to recover.
Two adults and the 2-year-old were in the car that was hit by stray bullets, no one inside the vehicle was wounded.
