Norfolk, Va. – While trying to catch someone who was violating the speed limit, a Norfolk officer and another vehicle collided in an intersection on Thursday afternoon.
The accident occurred at the intersection of E. Little Creek Road and Waco Street.
The officer was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A woman was driving the other vehicle and a young child was inside. The child was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No other details have been released.
