Hampton, Va.- Officers responded to a car crash involving two vehicles in the area of East Mercury Boulevard and Foxhill Road Saturday night.
The driver of one of the vehicles was taken to the hospital suffering from critical injuries.
Two others a 22-year-old male and a 15-year-old female were also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to police their investigation revealed that a Mazda sedan was speeding on East Mercury Boulevard, ran a red light and hit a Chrysler SUV while trying to make a left turn.
The crash caused eastbound traffic to close on Fox Hill Road.
No word on any charges and police are still investigating.
