Chesapeake woman charged with attempted murder after driving into boyfriend, Waffle House

Chesapeake, Va. – A woman is now facing several charges after an incident early Saturday morning in Chesapeake.

Police say Katrina Thomas drove into her boyfriend and a Waffle House in the 4800 block of Portsmouth Boulevard around 3 a.m.

She has been charged with attempted murder, malicious wounding, vandalism, and DUI.

Thomas’ boyfriend is recovering from serious injuries as a result of the incident.

Thomas’ arraignment was continued until July.
