PORTSMOUTH, Va. – The2nd annual Mini-Con will take place at Portsmouth Public Library on June 19 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. The event will feature local businesses such as Atlantis Games and Comics, Oldskool Video Games, and Borderless Comics.
Events include team trivia, a library-wide treasure hunt, and a free-to-play video game room with retro and newer games.
Portsmouth Public Library hopes the event will bring new patrons to the library and encourage con-goers to see what the facility has to offer. Angela Jones, the event coordinator stated, “events like these help our locals see what the library really has offer to the community.”
