Police responding to bank robbery in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Virginia Beach Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the Chartway Federal Credit Union at 304 Kellam Road at approximately 10:09 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say the suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money.  The man then fled from the bank on foot.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a dark complected black male with vitiligo to the left side of his face, arms and hands.  He is in his 30s, approximately 6′ tall with a skinny build.
