Rain, storms, gusty winds and tidal flooding….Stay weather aware as we move through this Friday. We’re tracking scattered rain, a few storms, gusty winds and tidal flooding, courtesy of an area of low pressure offshore. The low will get a bit stronger as it churns over the ocean, giving way to strong northeast winds between 20 and 30 mph. Higher gusts are likely, mainly along the coast. So, we’ll likely have some tidal flooding around high tide, especially Friday evening. High tide at Sewells Point Friday evening is at 8:11 p.m. High temperatures will be in the mid 70s.  Tonight, expect mostly cloudy skies, with scattered rain early. Then, the showers will start to diminish late. Low temperatures will be in the mid 60s.

By the weekend, conditions are looking fairly good for dad! On Saturday, we’ll see a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the mid 70s. The winds will continue to be a bit breezy at times from the northeast between 20 and 25 mph. On Father’s Day, the winds will start to relax. We’ll see mostly sunny skies and high temperatures in the upper 70s.  Our temperatures will warm back into the 80s next week.

Today: Mostly Cloudy. Scattered Showers/Storms (70%). Windy. High temperatures in the upper 70s. Winds: NE 20-30+ mph.

Tonight: Mostly Cloudy. Scattered Showers Possible Early (40%). Low temperatures in the mid 60s. Winds: NE 20-30+ mph.

Tomorrow: Sun and Clouds. Breezy. High temperatures in the mid 70s. Winds: NE 20-25+ mph.
