Williamsburg police arrested a man after an hours-long standoff.
Police tell NewsChannel 3 that 26-year-old David Newman was involved in a domestic dispute around midnight on Charles Dillard Lane.
That's in a neighborhood off News Road.
When police showed up, they say Newman barricaded himself in the home.
Investigators finally talked him out of the home.
Newman now faces charges of abduction and assault on a police officer.
He's in jail without bond.
