According to WGNTV.com, passengers on a flight from Detroit were being held aboard their plane at Midway Airport for more than two hours after the plane landed and a passenger had a “medical issue,” airport officials said Thursday afternoon.
Spokeswoman Karen Pride said the Center for Disease Control and Chicago Department of Public Health are assisting with the plane, Delta flight 3163 from Detroit, which landed at 3:45 p.m.
The plane remains on the tarmac and is not at a gate, Pride said.
