Police have arrested a man they say held his girlfriend hostage.
Jerrod Vines is charged with burglary, abduction, and malicious wounding.
Police say they were called to the home on Chesapeake Avenue to check on a woman who was fighting with her boyfriend.
Witnesses say the woman had been assaulted and that Vines wouldn't let her leave.
Negotiators were finally able to get the woman and her eight-month-old baby out of the home.
Vines was then arrested.
