Virginia Beach Police are on the scene of a home invasion and robbery in the 3100 block of Ashlawn Terrace. Per Eileen Cox, a spokeswoman for Virginia Beach Schools, Brookwood Elementary and Plaza Annex were placed on external lockdown. Instruction has not been interrupted.
