According to Karen Tanner, a Norfolk Public Schools spokeswoman, a student on his way to Azalea Gardens Middle School was found with a BB gun Thursday morning.
The bus was on the way to the school at the time.
There were no phone calls or written letters to parents about the issue.
The student was given appropriate disciplinary action and no one was harmed.
