There are a lot of families celebrating in Hampton Roads; Saturday was graduation day for several area universities.
The celebration is tripled for one of those families. Among the 800 students graduating from Norfolk State University are triplets: Bre’Andria, Cre’Andria and Dre’Andria Thompson of Cordova, Tenn.
All three are Dozoretz scholars, graduating magna cum laude with Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry. This is the first time triplets have graduated from the school’s Dozoretz National Institute for Mathematics and Applied Sciences (DNIMAS).
The sisters have each picked different careers to pursue with their degrees. Bre’ is planning to go to medical school, Cre’ wants to go to dental school and Dre’ says she would like to attend graduate school for toxicology.
