A man has been arrested after a teen says that she was sexually assaulted.
According to police, a 14-year-old Newport News girl told a school counselor about six incidents where she was allegedly sexually assaulted by a family friend.
Police say the incidents occurred in the 700 block of Old Lucas Creek Road.
Police and Child Protective Services were contacted.
Leonard Mills was arrested on Monday.
