Deputies in Isle of Wight released a picture of copper thieves caught red-handed. They say the men were cutting the copper wire off of a building in the Airway Shopping Center.
With the help of the photo, police have made one arrest so far.
John Smith has been charged with grand larceny. He was arrested near his home in Suffolk last month.
Deputies are still looking for his accomplice. If you have any information, take action and call the Isle of Wight Sheriff’s Department.
