NewsChannel 3 is taking action against crime and getting results. Newport News police have arrested another fugitive profiled on NewsChannel 3.
On Wednesday at 11, we told you about Kyonte Bland who was wanted for an armed robbery in a shopping center parking lot.
The next day, officers got a Crime Line tip and arrested Bland.
It turns out he was with another wanted man, Tony Wharton, Jr.
He's charged with grand larceny and burglary.
Officers were able to arrest Wharton at the same time.
