Exit ramps from I-64 East to Greenbrier Parkway in Chesapeake are closed because of an accident and fuel spill.
Virginia State Police say around 3:30am, a wrecker towing a tractor-trailer was in an accident near the Greenbrier exits. The wrecker overturned, spilling diesel fuel onto the road. The tractor-trailer stayed upright.
Hazmat teams are working to clean up the fuel. The exit ramps from I-64 East to Greenbrier Parkway will remain closed until that is finished. There is no word on how long that will take.
No injuries are reported.
