A Tropical Storm Watch has been issued for coast of South Carolina from the Savannah River to the South Santee River.
Tropical Storm Alberto continues to linger off the South Carolina coast, about 110 miles SE of Charleston, SC. Alberto is still moving SW, now at 6 mph. Southwest motion is expected to continue through Sunday then a north to northeast turn on Monday. Sustained winds are near 50 mph and little chance in strength is expected over the next 48 hours.
