A judge dropped one charge against Allison Gaul today and reduced a second charge.
The former French teacher from Corporate Landing Middle was sentenced to a year behind bars, but all that time is suspended if she completes a community corrections program.
She was arrested in December after police say they found equipment for growing marijuana in her home in the Great Neck section of the city.
According to prosecutors, she knew about the operation but was not actively participating.
Her husband, Michael Gaul, is charged with selling or distributing marijuana, and conspiracy to sell or distribute.
The Grand Jury is reviewing his case.
