Sub-tropical Storm Beryl formed Friday night off the Southeast Coast. Beryl is sitting about 200 miles ESE of Charleston, SC and moving SW at 6 mph. Winds are near 45 mph and some strengthening is expected over the next day or so.
The latest forecast track has Beryl making landfall near the Florida/Georgia line tomorrow afternoon as a tropical storm. We will keep an eye on the “leftovers” during the first part of the work week. The forecast path has a weakened Beryl moving northeast early next week and even reforming off the NC coast near midweek.
