People in the West Cradock neighborhood joined together to take action against crime.
They noticed a series of car break-ins and helped police catch a suspect.
They started shooting video and taking pictures of suspicious people.
Police used those photos and videos, plus interviews with victims, to catch Everson Wood.
They say Wood happened to be in the area the same time as the thefts were happening.
Wood is charged with a list of offenses including larceny and tampering.
