New details have emerged about a plot to sell six pounds of pot shipped inside computers to a Virginia Beach teacher's home.
Devin King has been sentenced to 14 months behind bars after pleading guilty to conspiring with a Kellam teacher's son to sell drugs.
According to prosecutors, the teacher, Darcy Mahler, was home when the box full of drugs was delivered to her house and accepted the parcel but did not know the pot was inside.
When she found out about the drugs, she did not tell police.
In the end, she was sentenced for obstructing justice.
Her son Kenneth Mahler pleaded guilty to drug possession charges last year.
He's serving two years behind bars for the crime.
