Norfolk police are investigating a homicide that occurred in the 1000 block of Hillside Avenue and the 9600 block of Atlans Street.
They say a man was shot at 9:54 p.m. Wednesday evening. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, police have not released any information about a suspect or a motive.
