On Thursday morning, police say a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Route 17 north of Hickory Fork Road in Gloucester.
After an investigation, police say the driver of a 2004 GMC Convoy, Debora Sue Auman, 52, was driving under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested for DUI.
Alvin Darnell Wilson, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene.
