RALEIGH — The N.C. Department of Transportation’s Ferry Division announces that the Currituck-Knotts Island route will begin its summer schedule Saturday, June 9.
The summer schedule will provide one fewer trip daily for eight weeks, and is the same schedule currently being offered on weekends. The summer schedule will be:
- Departing Currituck at 6 a.m., 9, 11, 2 p.m. and 4; and
- Departing Knotts Island at 7 a.m., 10, noon, 3 p.m. and 5.
A return to the regular in-school session schedule will begin August 7.
