NewsChannel 3 and WGNT are taking action to honor a Fallen Marine from Chesapeake.
Wendy Childers, the mother of Fallen Marine LCPL. Cody S. Childers, and founder of the LCPL. Cody S. Childers Memorial Fund, is holding a fundraiser on Saturday, June 16, 2012.
Wendy is selling tickets to Saturday's Tides game that will benefit the memorial fund.
Today, NewsChannel 3 bought 80 of Wendy's Tides baseball tickets.
NewsChannel 3 and WGNT will be giving those tickets away this week on the WGNT Show from 7 a.m. - 9 a.m.

We will be throwing out the first pitch and we are honoring Cody that Nite!
We are selling tickets that will benefit the Memorial fund. You have to purchase from us, for us to get a donation from the sale.
Tickets are $11 each and reserved seats. When you turn in at box office, you can upgrade for a $1 to box seats.
Fireworks and possibly the Marine Corps Silent Drill Team.
