Wearing a cap and gown and graduating from high school is something students and parents look forward to.
This year's graduating class from Tallwood High School got a special guest Vice President Joe Biden. He gave the commencement speech.
Class President Ryan Malpaya says they learned about Vice President Biden's speech in March. And they have been looking forward to it since then.
Vice President Biden's speech also meant a lot to the parents of Ana Sanchez. She was a member of the graduating class. She passed away suddenly in February. Her mom Shirley Ortiz says she "would have been so proud" he was there.
Now the class of 2012 will have a memory they can all share.
