Two soldiers have died supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
The Department of Defense says insurgents attacked their unit with an improvised explosive device.
Sergeant Joseph Lilly, from Flint, Michigan died Thursday - and Specialist Trevor Pinnick from Lawrenceville, Illinois died Tuesday.
They were based in Washington state.
