A former sailor charged with attempted rape in Virginia Beach is now charged with a sexual attack in Norfolk.

Norfolk police say Roy Loredo has been charged with attacking a woman in Ocean View.

Police say he broke into her apartment and assaulted her at knifepoint in April.

Loredo has been in the Virginia Beach Jail since Sunday.

Loredo was arrested in Virginia Beach after police say he dragged a woman out of a car in the parking lot of a Bayside Bar last weekend and attempted to sexually assault her.

Today, a Virginia Beach judge told Loredo he can get out of jail if he pays 100, 000 dollars bond, abides by an 8 p.m. curfew and submits to drug tests.

This morning, Loredo's wife told the judge he has a drug and alcohol problem, but is a good father.

If he makes bond in Virginia Beach, Norfolk police will be there to arrest him and bring him to their city jail.

Loredo is also a suspect in two other sexual assault cases in Virginia Beach.
