Mars Petcare US has announced a recall of Pedigree weight management
canned dog food products due to a potential choking risk. (Pedigree – Weight Management Meat Ground Beef & Liver Dinner, 13.2 oz.,
UPC 2310001913)
Cans with a best before date that falls between 2/24/2014 and
3/23/2014 is included in this recall.
They say the product may contain small pieces of blue plastic that went into the dog food during production.
No injuries have been reported.
Customers who have purchased the product should throw away any unused portions and request a refund.
