According to Norfolk police, a 3-year-old was accidentally shot in the 8000 block of Plymouth Street.
Police say he was shot in the hand and they believe it may have been self inflicted.
The child has now been transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are still investigating.
